Selah - January 2009 - The Perfect Gift Now that we are done looking for that perfect gift to give that perfect person, let us look to the greatest gift from the greatest person found in one powerful and simple statement. God so loved the world that He gave His Only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not Perish, but have Everlasting Life. -John 3:16 The one and only true God gave us the greatest gift, JESUS CHRIST, to provide the Way to the Father’s heart, the Truth to set us free from the enslavement of sin, guilt, punishment, shame, pain and so much more, and the Life that is abundant this side of heaven and then becomes eternal life in heaven. This truth is for all who believe. Let us show our wisdom by seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness so all things will be added unto us. Let us labor for the kingdom of God and look for opportunities to get this word out. May you know the Father’s love, the grace of JESUS CHRIST and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit! SELAH: pause and think on this. |
